Ubud isn't only well-known for spots with impressive natural view and soothing atmosphere, but also places with amazing artworks. There are many popular art museums that you can visit to see the masterpiece of the famous artist in Ubud, as one of the most visited is Blanco Renaissance Museum.

Blanco Renaissance Museum was built by Don Antonio Blanco in 1998, exactly at his residence with beautiful environment.
Don Antonio Blanco was a famous painter, born on September 15, 1911, in Manila, the capital of Philippines. In 1952, He moved to live in Ubud and married with Ni Ronji, a Balinese woman dancer.
Blanco Renaissance Museum displays 300 Artworks of Don Antonio Blanco, and some artworks of Mario Blanco, his son.
Most of his artwork of Don Antonio Blanco are inspired by beauty of Balinese woman, while Mario Blanco’s artworks display beauty of nature.
It is a recommended place for paint art enthusiast. The visitor can explore museum building with 2 levels while seeing the artworks of the artist. Need to note that the visitor can’t be allowed to take pictures in the museum.
In the end, the visitor can visit at Rondji Restaurant that is located not far from museum building and offers Balinese dishes.
Entrance fee at Blanco Renaissance Museum are Rp 30.000 for Indonesian (Domestic) and IDR 50.000 for foreign. It was officially opened from 09.00 – 17.00 every day, including Sunday.
The museum is located at Campuhan Street, Sayan, Ubud. It approximately 1,2 kilometers west from Puri Saren Palace (Ubud center).
